Music clips culled from the season 3 episode "The Cardinal" of "Mission: Impossible" in which imposter Nagorski (actor Paul Stevens) poses as Cardinal Souchek in order to name General Zepke (actor Theodore Bikel) as the new ruler of the country but the IMF agents infiltrate the Zolnar Monastery to thwart the political plot by driving Nagorski sick. In the process, three IMF agents are on the verge of suffocating... Composer Jerry Fielding writes his third score for the series, rearranges the series theme and fashions musical devices and stings that will be reworked for both "The Wild Bunch" (1969) and "Scorpio" (1973) because of three instruments: snare drum, cimbalom and jaw harp.
