Lily Was Here is a single from the soundtrack written by David A. Stewart for the Dutch movie De Kassiere, internationally released under title 'Lily Was Here.' The single was released in November 1989 on Anxious Records, record label set up by David A. Stewart of Eurythmics. David invited Candy Dulfer, who had not previously released any of her material, to play the saxophone on this track. The success of this song encouraged Dulfer to write her own album Saxuality.
